About the Position: This position is responsible for managing the School of Business website and related digital properties, including monitoring and maintaining functionality, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, managing and editing content, creating new pages and content, researching and implementing new functionality and user experience enhancements, and other web management initiatives.
Responsibilities: The Digital Marketing Manager position has responsibilities in the following areas:
Web Management: - Monitor and update School of Business website, landing pages, blogs, and other digital properties;
- Serve as resource for staff regarding website updates;
- Work with Marketing and Communication leadership and Grad Program leadership to plan, execute, monitor and report performance of website analytics, digital marketing, and advertising channels;
- Monitor and assess web activity vs. goals and site performance multiple times per week;
- Provide analysis of web performance and provide recommendations to improve traffic, engagement, and goal achievement;
- Monitor performance of website and other digital properties in terms of user experience and useability, content architecture, and functionality of RFIs and other functionality;
- Responsible for high-quality content architecture, UX, RFI functionality, accessibility, and web standards. Continually seek improvements in UX and data capture technologies.
Content Creation: - Generate content for the website, landing pages, digital marketing, and other properties, including traditional marketing and communications channels.
Analytics and Assessment: - Integrate data from multiple sources into a digital properties dashboard for monthly reporting. Produce a monthly digital dashboard across digital, social, and web activity. Manage user group to gather first-hand assessments of site performance.
Lead Generation: - Work with CRM manager on the integration of outbound digital marketing through conversion into the CRM tool including tracking.
Outbound Marketing: - Manage posting of outbound digital marketing content; collaborating with designers and editors. Maintains an implementation schedule for digital content across all channels, and with the digital marketing vendor. Manage tag implementation, tracking and analysis.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in web development, marketing or mass communications, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Direct experience with website development and maintenance, including content architecture, UX, RFI functionality, accessibility, and web standards;
- Direct experience with digital content creation and management;
- Working experience with Microsoft Office suite;
- Experience working with marketing automation, CRM, SEO, and CMS software, as well as Google AdWords, Analytics, and Tag Manager;
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Higher education in web development, content management, and digital marketing experience strongly preferred.
